This time, we were contacted by a nursing home to collect the personal belongings and effects of a resident who had passed away.
The room where the resident had been living at the nursing home contained a variety of personal items that had been cherished over the years, including furniture, everyday necessities, and keepsakes.
During the work, we found a photograph among the items to be collected. It showed an elderly woman with a truly lovely smile. As we looked at the photo, the staff and family shared their memories of her, telling us she had always been such a kind person with a wonderful smile.
Because it was a place where she lived for so long, it holds a great many memories. At Nishida Service, we don’t simply collect items; we keep in mind that each and every item carries the feelings of the deceased and their family, and we make it a point to carry out our work with care.
