So far, we have collected multi function devices, electric organs, safes, etc. that weigh more than 100 kg. We may also collect commercial machines. For example, a compressor.
Recently, we have collected a soundproof package compressor. The model number is CLD37-8.5.
The place is a factory along the river in Kohoku Ward, Yokohama City. We have received a request from a customer to remove the old compressor first because we will introduce a new compressor to the factory.
At the site, there are two steps of about 20 cm in the middle of carrying out. Since the compressor was placed in a position where space was limited, it took not only power but also attention, judgment, and wisdom to carry it out.
It was easy to put the compressor on the pallet on the trolley, but in order to cross the step at the entrance and exit of the factory, it was necessary to first remove the compressor from the trolley on which it was placed. Therefore, I decided to insert the iron plate that was around and slide it. This is because I thought about how to use it like a step plate.
The compressor placed on the iron plate was carried by inserting a rounded rod as shown in the photo below and sliding it like rolling.
The work was done by 5 people including myself, and it took about 15 to 20 minutes to complete the work safely.
There are various types of compressors, from small ones that can be carried by one person to large ones that are difficult to carry without a crane.
