Hello! We were contacted to clear a large inherited plot of land in Sakae Ward, Yokohama, removing an old storage shed and all remaining items left on the property. Upon arrival, we found the site heavily overgrown with weeds and trees, as the land had gone unmanaged for many years.

Inside the storage sheds, a large number of leftover items had been left behind, including lumber and various household goods. We began by removing all of the contents before proceeding to dismantle the two deteriorated sheds. Having been exposed to the elements for many years, much of the timber had rotted, requiring careful and methodical work throughout the dismantling process.

As all of the dismantled materials had to be carried out by hand, the volume of work proved greater than anticipated. With a four-person crew working over two days, we successfully completed the entire removal.

When it comes to inherited land, it is not uncommon to encounter situations such as:
“I live too far away to manage the property myself.”
“The land is in a mountainous area where the overgrowth has made it difficult to even inspect the site.”
At Nishida Service, we handle everything from grass cutting and leftover item removal to shed dismantling — all in one place. We are fully equipped to take on properties like this one, whether vehicles cannot access the site or the land has been left unattended for an extended period.
With inherited land, vegetation continues to grow and structures continue to deteriorate the longer the property is left unattended. A plot you have been meaning to sort out “someday” can quickly turn into a far larger undertaking than expected.
At Nishida Service, we are committed to easing the burden on our customers every step of the way, from the initial site assessment through to the completion of all work. Please feel free to reach out to us at any time.
