Hello! This is Nishida Service.
The intense heat continues, so please take good care of yourselves — be sure to watch out for heatstroke, and stay well.
We recently received a request from a customer in Nakahara Ward, Kawasaki City, to demolish and remove a carport (parking roof) that had been installed at their property. After years of use, the carport had deteriorated over time, and the customer wanted the roofing material and frame removed.
At Nishida Service, we carried out the demolition, removal, and disposal as a complete package — paying close attention to the surrounding buildings, fencing, and the customer’s vehicle, with safety as our top priority throughout.

Carports come in many different types.
The most common type currently used in residential settings combines an aluminum frame with a polycarbonate roof. Beyond that, there are several other variations: the “single-post type,” with support posts on only one side; the “double-post type,” with posts on both sides; the “gable type,” designed for two or more parking spaces; the “rear-post type,” with posts positioned toward the back; and the sturdy “folded-plate carport,” commonly used in snowy regions and at business facilities. In some older homes, you’ll also find carports with corrugated roofing, or ones made of steel or wood.
As this shows, the demolition method varies depending on the carport’s type and how it was installed. The support posts are often firmly anchored in concrete, and depending on the size, the structure can be quite heavy — attempting to dismantle it yourself can risk injury, accidents, or damage to the building.
