This time, we received a request from a customer living in municipal housing in Koto City, Tokyo, who is moving out of their rental apartment, to remove and dispose of a self-installed warm-water washlet toilet seat.
When moving in, tenants often install these seats for convenience, but many people find themselves in a bind at move-out — probably more than you’d expect — since the unit has to be restored to its original condition: they worry about water leaks if they try removing it themselves, or they simply don’t have time to reinstall the original seat.
