Hello! This is Kasahara from Nishida Service.
Autumn is deepening, and while the days are still warm, the mornings and evenings have started to feel cool. The trees around town are slowly changing color, and the scenery is taking on a real autumn look.
How is everyone doing?
This time, we would like to introduce a vending machine removal job requested by a customer living in a detached house in Asahi Ward, Yokohama.

In a corner of the garden, two vending machines, one for cigarettes and one for drinks, had been installed side by side.
Neither was in use anymore, and they had apparently been left as they were for a long time.
When something is large or heavy, it can be hard to find the right moment to deal with it, even when you want to tidy up.
This time, two of our staff members visited the property to remove the two vending machines.
Vending machines are heavier than they look, and they require extra care when handled.
A typical vending machine can weigh around 180 to 300 kg per unit, depending on the model and size.
Inside, they contain cooling units and metal frames, so they are not easy to move.
What requires particular attention is the weight and balance of the machine.
If a machine is tilted by force or moved carelessly, it may fall over, which could damage nearby buildings or cars and may even lead to a serious accident.
In addition, vending machines are sometimes fixed to a concrete floor with anchor bolts to prevent tipping or theft.
Trying to remove a machine without checking how it is secured can damage the base or the surrounding tiles, so careful work is essential.
For this reason, when removing a vending machine, it is important to check the condition of the machine, how it is fixed in place, and the removal route, and then proceed with a safe procedure.
At Nishida Service, we check the surroundings first, prepare the necessary tools and protective covering, and work with great care so that buildings and walkways are not damaged.

This time as well, we carefully disconnected and removed the machines while checking how each one was secured to its base.
Because vending machines are so heavy, it is important to check each step carefully and put safety first throughout the work.
Once both machines were safely removed, the large vending machines that had stood in the corner of the garden were gone, and the surrounding area looked much cleaner and more open.
The customer kindly told us, “I had been bothered by them, but I just couldn’t move them myself… I feel so much better now.”
If this tidying up has helped relieve a worry for the customer, we are happy as well.

Large and heavy items like vending machines can be difficult to dispose of, because they are too heavy to move on your own.
Do any of these concerns sound familiar?
“We have a vending machine that is no longer in use, and it has just been left there.”
“It is too heavy to move, and we do not know how to get rid of it.”
“We no longer know who the vendor or the installer was.”
At Nishida Service, we handle not only vending machines but also the collection and removal of large furniture and other heavy unwanted items.
Clearing away something that has been on your mind for a long time may also bring a sense of relief.
If you have anything you are having trouble disposing of, please feel free to contact Nishida Service.
