“To Families Living Far Away” — Leave Your Estate Clearance to Us!

Hello!

This time, we were asked to help with the estate clearance of a deceased individual who had been living alone in an apartment in Atsugi City.

The bereaved family, who reside in Yamagata Prefecture, traveled to Atsugi on short notice upon receiving news of the passing.

Since the family lives far away, they told us:

“It would be difficult for us to travel to Kanagawa multiple times,” and
“We’d like to keep the burden as light as possible during this process.”

In response to these concerns, Nishida Service was entrusted with handling the clearance.

✦・┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈ ・✦

First, we visited the property together with the bereaved family to inspect the room, and provided an on-the-spot estimate.

Afterward, the family returned to Yamagata, where they were able to take their time discussing and considering the matter together with their relatives.

Some days later, once the request was formally confirmed, the family mailed the room key to Nishida Service from Yamagata Prefecture, and we began the work right away.

During the process, to ensure the family could feel at ease even without being present on site, we photographed any valuables or keepsakes as soon as they were found and reported each one to the family promptly.

We carefully searched for the items the family had requested, including:

“Please look for the bankbook and personal seal (inkan),” and
“Please check whether any important documents remain.”

Any valuables that were found were carefully packed and mailed to the family in Yamagata Prefecture.

After the work was completed, the family only needed to be present for a final confirmation. Once they gave their approval, Nishida Service took full responsibility for returning the apartment key to the property owner.

Living far away doesn’t mean you need to visit the site multiple times. Whether it’s:

“Being present only for the initial estimate,”
“Being present only for the final confirmation,” or
“Checking on progress remotely through photos and phone calls during the work”

This kind of flexible support is one of Nishida Service’s key strengths.

In recent years, we’ve seen a growing number of inquiries from people whose family home or a relative’s residence is located far away, making it difficult to visit the site repeatedly.

Flexible approaches—such as choosing how to be present, arranging key handoffs, and receiving progress reports through photos—allow estate clearance services to be tailored to each customer’s situation, and this approach is increasingly chosen by many families.

✦・┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈ ・✦

At Nishida Service, we’ve built trust through consistently sincere and attentive service—the kind that leads clients to say things like:

“They handled everything with such care,” and
“I was able to leave it to them without any worries, even from far away.”

It’s this track record of dependable service that has led many families, even those living far from the site, to entrust their estate clearance needs to us.

So that even those living far away or unable to visit the site repeatedly can entrust the process with peace of mind, we propose the estate clearance solution best suited to each customer’s individual situation.

Please feel free to reach out to Nishida Service anytime.

Leave the removal of veranda joint tiles and wood panels to us!

Filed under: Garbage disposal,Garbage when moving — nishida @ 12:00 PM

Hello, this is Nishida Service.

The intense summer heat continues — we hope this finds you well.

This time, we were asked to remove and collect interlocking tile decking that had been laid out on the veranda of a condominium in Miyamae Ward, Kawasaki City. The work was completed by two staff members in approximately one hour.

Items sold at home improvement stores — such as joint tiles, veranda tiles, wood panels (wood deck panels), stone-look tiles, and stone-textured joint tiles — are easy to install yourself, which is why so many households use them.

In fact, when these types of interlocking tiles and wood panels are left in place for many years, it’s quite common to find a surprising amount of dirt, dust, sand, and small debris accumulated underneath once they’re removed.

In many cases, grime that has built up over years — or even decades — is hidden beneath them, and some customers are surprised by just how bad it is the first time they remove the panels themselves.

At Nishida Service, we thoroughly clean up the dirt, dust, and debris left behind after removal, and hand the veranda back to you in a clean, tidy condition.

Please leave everything to Nishida Service — removal, collection, and sweeping/cleaning included.

✦・┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈ ・✦

We provide a wide range of removal and collection services for veranda products purchased at home improvement stores or online retailers, including joint tiles, veranda tiles, wood panels, wood deck panels, stone-look tiles, stone-textured joint tiles, artificial turf, joint mats, and veranda mats.

Even heavy stone-look tiles or large quantities of joint panels are handled safely and carefully by our experienced staff, so there’s no need for you to remove or sort anything yourself beforehand.

If you’re dealing with a veranda makeover, removal ahead of waterproofing work, or restoring a property to its original condition when moving or vacating a condominium, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Nishida Service.

For bulk cardboard collection, trust Nishida Service!

Hello, this is Nishida Service.

The rainy season has ended here in the Kanto region, and summer has truly arrived. As the intense heat continues day after day, we hope this message finds you well. Please take care to guard against heatstroke, and don’t overdo it as you go about your days.

A few days ago, we received a request from a customer in Shibuya Ward, Tokyo, to collect a large volume of cardboard boxes and packing materials.

Inside the office, cardboard used for packaging products and equipment had piled up throughout the aisles, making it difficult to secure adequate working space.

With online retail, office relocations, and store layout changes, cardboard boxes and packing materials can build up in large quantities before you even realize it.

While it’s possible to dispose of them gradually as recyclable waste, once the volume becomes substantial, hauling it out and finding storage space in the meantime can become a significant burden.

This time, one staff member visited the site and collected a full truckload of cardboard and packing materials in about one hour.

We handled everything quickly, from sorting to loading, and the aisles were left completely clear — the customer was very pleased with the result.

At Nishida Service, we collect not only cardboard but also cushioning materials, packing supplies, and unwanted shelving or fixtures, all in one visit.

If you’re facing situations like these:

“We have a large amount of cardboard and don’t know how to dispose of it”
“We want to organize our office or store’s back area”
“We want to clear out all the cardboard left over after a move at once”

please feel free to reach out to Nishida Service for a consultation.

From large-volume cardboard collection to unwanted item removal for offices, stores, and homes, our experienced staff will respond quickly and carefully.

Quotes are free, so please feel free to contact us anytime.

I passed the Type 2 Electrician qualification exam!

Filed under: News — nishida @ 11:08 AM

Hello! This is Nishida, Sales Manager at Nishida Service.

A little while ago, I obtained the Class 2 Electrician License.

My work is primarily focused on sales, so I’ve generally left the technical, on-site expertise to our skilled tradesmen in-house. As a result, there have been times when I wasn’t able to explain the technical details myself.

In sales, I often receive questions from customers about the details of electrical work, and there are many opportunities to propose the best solutions based on their needs. In situations like these, I wanted to be able to serve our customers with more accurate knowledge, which is why I decided to pursue this certification.

✦・┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈ ・✦

A Study Period Made Possible by the Pandemic

I began studying for the certification right in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. Since it was a time when non-essential outings were being discouraged, I was able to secure solid blocks of study time—staying at the office after work or studying at home after dinner. Looking back, it turned out to be good timing for pursuing this certification.

✦・┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈ ・✦

What Is a Class 2 Electrician License?

The Class 2 Electrician License is a national certification that authorizes the holder to perform electrical work, wiring work, and equipment maintenance in homes, shops, and small factories.

In fact, even work that may seem simple at first glance—such as replacing an outlet or switch in your home—cannot legally be performed by anyone without this qualification.

I know many people enjoy DIY projects, but please be aware that even electrical work in your own home may require a licensed professional in certain cases.

✦・┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈ ・✦

The Written Exam: Past Questions Are the Fastest Path to Success

The written exam mainly covers laws and regulations, tools, and wiring diagrams—content that’s largely memorization-based and relatively easy to retain.

On the other hand, calculation problems are where many people struggle. Coming from a humanities background myself, with almost no exposure to math since high school, I was quite anxious about this section at first.

It’s common advice that “you can skip the calculation problems and still pass by scoring well elsewhere.” However, I’m the type of person who doesn’t like leaving something unresolved, so I focused on memorizing the formulas and practicing them repeatedly.

As it turned out, once I understood the formulas, the calculation problems were surprisingly easy to score on—even for someone like me who isn’t good at math. I’d say it’s a bit of a waste to give up on them from the start.

My study method was simple: repeat past exam questions as much as possible. Over the course of about a month, I worked through ten years’ worth of past exams, going through them more than twice. Although the exam itself is two hours long, I practiced until I could complete a full set of questions in about 15 minutes, which allowed me to approach the actual exam with confidence and plenty of time to spare.

✦・┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈ ・✦

The Practical Exam: Practice Is Everything

Once you pass the written exam, the next step is the practical skills exam. Working from a given circuit diagram, you actually assemble wiring using electrical cables and fixtures.

Using specialized tools such as pliers, cable strippers, and electrician’s knives, you strip the sheathing off VVF cables and correctly connect items like lighting fixtures, switches, and outlets. Since even a small wiring mistake can result in failing the exam, precision is essential.

I practiced using instructional videos from the YouTube channel “Hozan’s Electrician Exam Tiger” . The explanations are very clear, and I’d recommend it to anyone learning practical skills for the first time.

✦・┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈ ・✦

What I Felt After Earning the Certification

When I received my certificate after passing, I felt a great sense of accomplishment and confidence. Earning this national certification has allowed me to make proposals to customers with greater confidence, and I feel I’m now able to offer more accurate advice when customers come to me with questions.

In particular, when it comes to air conditioner relocation work during a move, cases involving voltage changes from 100V to 200V often require the kind of knowledge that comes with being a licensed electrician.

Going forward, as a sales representative at Nishida Service, I aim to make the most of both my sales experience and my knowledge as a licensed electrician, so that I can continue to be someone our customers can turn to with confidence.

For regular cleaning of apartments and condominiums, choose Nishida Service!

Filed under: Case Study & News — nishida @ 11:34 AM

Hello!

The common areas of an apartment or condominium building are important spaces that shape the first impression of the entire property. When the entrance, shared hallways, and stairwells are kept clean and well-maintained, it creates a positive impression not only for current residents but also for prospective tenants viewing the property — leaving them with the sense that the building is truly well managed.

However, over the course of daily life, dust, fallen leaves, and small pieces of debris gradually accumulate in these common areas, leading to blackened flooring, stains on walls, and the gradual buildup of moss and cobwebs. If left unattended, this kind of dirt and grime not only detracts from the overall impression of the building but can also affect its appearance and property value.

✦・┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈ ・✦

At Nishida Service, we provide regular cleaning services for apartments, condominiums, and other buildings. Our work includes sweeping shared hallways, stairwells, and entrances, wiping down floors, cleaning handrails and shared facilities, removing cobwebs, picking up litter around the building, and clearing fallen leaves — each task carried out carefully and thoroughly to keep the building clean and well maintained.

Regular cleaning not only helps maintain the building’s appearance but also helps prevent deterioration and preserve property value. In addition, well-kept common areas can improve resident satisfaction and support vacancy prevention efforts, offering significant benefits to owners and management companies alike. We also offer monthly regular cleaning contracts.

We offer flexible cleaning plans tailored to the size of your building, your budget, and your preferences — such as once or twice a month. If you’re an owner or management company looking to keep your common areas consistently clean, or hoping to reduce the burden of building management tasks, please feel free to contact us for a consultation.

✦・┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈ ・✦

At Nishida Service, we handle a wide range of building management needs beyond regular cleaning — including junk removal, disposal of abandoned belongings, vacant unit cleanouts, and weeding or pruning. We provide total support for building management, saving you the trouble of coordinating with multiple different contractors.

To keep your building clean and comfortable for years to come, we invite any owners or management companies considering regular cleaning services to reach out to Nishida Service. We’ll propose the cleaning plan best suited to your building’s condition and your specific needs, and we approach every single property with genuine care and dedicated, thorough service.

For electone removal, trust the experienced team at Nishida Service!

Filed under: Case Study & News — nishida @ 11:03 AM

Hello,

We received a request from a customer in Takatsu Ward, Kawasaki City, to remove an electone (electronic organ) that was no longer needed.

This job involved carrying the electone out from the second floor of a detached house. Our two-person staff team completed the entire process — from carrying the unit out to loading it onto the truck — in under one hour.

Electones are heavier than they appear, and their weight and size vary significantly depending on the model. Some older models weigh close to 100 kg, making experience and careful handling essential during removal. We checked the width of the staircase and any tight corners along the route in advance, prioritizing safety throughout while taking care not to damage the walls or flooring.

✦・┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈ ・✦

Drawing on our extensive experience removing electones from a wide range of manufacturers and models, Nishida Service proposes the most suitable removal method based on your home’s layout and the specific model involved. Depending on the model, the work may involve partial disassembly before removal, or the unit may be carried out as is — the approach varies case by case.

If you let us know the electone’s product number, model number, or detailed model name when you contact us, we can assess the estimate, scope of work, and weight in advance, allowing for a smoother and quicker response.

Depending on the condition of the electone, we may also be able to purchase it from you. Units that are in good working order may be eligible for appraisal, so if you’re considering disposal, please feel free to consult with us first.

Also, letting us know the setup details — such as whether the unit is on the first or second floor, and whether removal will involve a staircase — helps ensure the work goes smoothly on the day itself.

Even for a single electone, we carry out the removal and collection process with care, taking every precaution to protect your home. If you’re struggling with how to dispose of an electone, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Nishida Service.

Plasterboard and Construction Waste Collection from a Renovation Project!

Hello ! This time, we received a request from a renovation company in Tsuzuki Ward, Yokohama City, for the collection of construction waste generated from a store demolition project.

The materials collected consisted primarily of plasterboard (PB), along with aluminum and steel materials, lighting fixtures, and other construction waste generated during the demolition work.

Plasterboard is a building material widely used as a base material for walls and ceilings in homes and stores, but demolition work often generates it in large quantities, making it an industrial waste product that requires proper disposal.

For this job, a team of three staff members and two trucks arrived on site, where we checked and loaded the construction waste—which had been pre-sorted by type—item by item.

The work was completed in under an hour, allowing for a swift response so the next phase of construction could proceed smoothly.

✦・┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈ ・✦

At Nishida Service, we handle the collection of a wide range of construction waste generated from demolition work, including not only plasterboard but also aluminum, steel, lighting fixtures, and more.

We regularly receive inquiries from renovation companies and interior contractors with requests such as:

“We want to clear the site immediately after demolition.”

“We’d like all the construction waste collected together.”

“We want to work with a company that can dispose of materials properly and legally.”

✦・┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈ ・✦

Nishida Service holds an Industrial Waste Collection and Transport License, allowing us to properly collect and transport industrial waste generated at construction sites.

From plasterboard (PB) to lightweight steel framing (LGS), aluminum materials, steel materials, lighting fixtures, and more, you can leave the collection of construction waste from demolition work to us.

We also respond promptly to requests from corporate clients, renovation companies, and interior demolition contractors, so please feel free to reach out to Nishida Service whenever you’re in need.

Leave the Disposal of Garden Soil and Sandbags to Us!

Filed under: Garbage disposal,Business waste — nishida @ 12:10 PM

Hello! This is Nishida Service.

“I want to dispose of soil left over from replanting in my garden.”
“I need to clear away sandbags used for typhoon or heavy rain preparation.”
“I’d like the concrete fragments from garden or exterior construction work collected as well.”

Does this sound familiar?

In fact, in many municipalities, soil cannot be disposed of as ordinary household waste or bulky waste. Because of this, we frequently receive inquiries from customers who simply aren’t sure where to turn for help.

✦・┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈ ・✦

This time, we collected bagged soil along with concrete fragments (concrete debris) generated from exterior construction work at a detached house in Shoto, Sakae Ward, Yokohama City.

There was approximately one truckload of material, but our two-person staff team completed the removal and loading in about 15 minutes.

At Nishida Service, we handle the collection of unwanted soil from gardening and home vegetable patches, as well as potted plant soil, sandbags, and concrete fragments generated from exterior construction work.

Even if you simply want to dispose of soil, find it too heavy to carry out yourself, or are struggling with a large quantity, there’s no need for you to move anything yourself — our staff will carefully handle everything from removal to collection.

If you’re having trouble disposing of soil or concrete fragments, please feel free to consult with Nishida Service anytime.
