Please leave the collection of belongings at nursing homes to us.

Hello! This is Nishida Service.
This time, we were contacted by a nursing home to collect the personal belongings and effects of a resident who had passed away.
The room where the resident had been living at the nursing home contained a variety of personal items that had been cherished over the years, including furniture, everyday necessities, and keepsakes.

During the work, we found a photograph among the items to be collected. It showed an elderly woman with a truly lovely smile. As we looked at the photo, the staff and family shared their memories of her, telling us she had always been such a kind person with a wonderful smile.

Because it was a place where she lived for so long, it holds a great many memories. At Nishida Service, we don’t simply collect items; we keep in mind that each and every item carries the feelings of the deceased and their family, and we make it a point to carry out our work with care.

This time as well, we carried out the work with careful attention to those around us, and the family and nursing home staff kindly told us, “You do such careful work.” After the work was finished, we even received a heartfelt “thank you” from them. Clearing out a room where a loved one lived for so long, and collecting their belongings and effects, is never an easy thing for family members to go through.

“I live too far away to go and clear things out myself.” “I need to sort through belongings because we’re moving out of the nursing home.” “We can’t manage the cleanup on our own as a family.” “These are a loved one’s belongings, so I want them handled with care.” If you’re facing concerns like these, please feel free to consult Nishida Service.

We handle each item with care, staying attentive to the feelings of the family throughout. Our entire staff is deeply grateful to have had the opportunity to be involved in sorting through belongings so filled with a loved one’s precious memories. For clearing out belongings and collecting personal effects at nursing homes, please leave it to Nishida Service.

Removal of a “Warm-Water Washlet Toilet Seat” and Restoration to Original Condition

Hello! This is Nishida Service.
The intense heat continues, and we hope everyone is doing well. If you’re moving or organizing your home, please take care of your health and avoid overexerting yourself.

This time, we received a request from a customer living in municipal housing in Koto City, Tokyo, who is moving out of their rental apartment, to remove and dispose of a self-installed warm-water washlet toilet seat.

When moving in, tenants often install these seats for convenience, but many people find themselves in a bind at move-out — probably more than you’d expect — since the unit has to be restored to its original condition: they worry about water leaks if they try removing it themselves, or they simply don’t have time to reinstall the original seat.

This customer had initially obtained a quote from a different specialist company, but they came to consult with us when using our “moving-related unused item removal” service.
When Nishida Service took on the toilet seat removal and restoration to original condition together with the unwanted item removal as a package, we were able to significantly reduce the cost compared to the other company’s quote. The customer was delighted, saying, “Being able to bundle everything together made it cheaper, and it saved me so much hassle — it really helped!”

If you’re worried about “my move-out date is coming up and I don’t know what to do…” or thinking “hiring a specialist will probably be expensive,” please feel free to reach out to Nishida Service for a consultation!

We collected shoji screens from a Japanese-style room!

Filed under: Oversized garbage,Furniture disposal — nishida @ 12:02 PM

Hello! This is Nishida Service.
Now that August has arrived, the intense heat continues day after day.
This is also a season when summer fatigue tends to build up,
so please stay hydrated and get plenty of rest as you take good care of yourself.

This time, we received a request from a customer living in a single-family home
in Higashimurayama City for the removal of unwanted shoji screens from a Japanese-style room.
The customer contacted us wanting to dispose of shoji screens that had become unnecessary
due to a renovation and redecorating of their Japanese-style room.

Although shoji screens may look lightweight, their large size means that careful attention must be paid to surrounding walls, ceilings, and furniture during removal. In addition, when there are multiple panels, carrying them out can be quite labor-intensive, making it a difficult task for customers to handle disposal on their own.

This time, two staff members visited the site and completed the work, from removal to loading, in under an hour. We carefully carried out the shoji screens without damaging the home, ensuring a smooth collection process.
At Nishida Service, we handle not only shoji screen removal but also the collection of various unwanted household items such as fusuma sliding doors, screen doors, tatami mats, fixtures, and furniture. Even large or hard-to-carry items are safely and carefully removed by our experienced staff.

“I’d like just the shoji screens collected”
“I’d like the fixtures removed during renovation collected all together”
“I’d like furniture and other unwanted items cleared out at the same time”
Please feel free to reach out to us with requests like these as well.

At Nishida Service, we respond quickly to everything from small amounts of household unwanted items to the clearance of an entire house. Estimates are free, so if you’re considering unwanted item removal, please feel free to contact us.

Leave your unwanted gym and fitness equipment collection to us!

Hello! This is Nishida Service.

As we move through August, the intense heat continues. Please take care to stay well hydrated and avoid heatstroke, and take good care of yourself during this season.

This time, we received a request from a store in Tama Ward, Tokyo, to collect and dispose of unwanted gym machines and fitness equipment. The store was undergoing a layout change and equipment replacement, and wanted to dispose of training machines and fitness equipment that were no longer in use.

Gym machines are often heavier than they appear, and larger units frequently require disassembly and a check of the removal route beforehand. Attempting to move them without proper preparation can risk damaging floors or walls.

This job was handled by two staff members, with everything from removal to loading completed in under an hour. We took care to work quickly and carefully so as not to affect the store’s operations or any future work.

✦・┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈ ・✦

Nishida Service handles the collection of a wide range of fitness equipment, including treadmills, exercise bikes, bench presses, dumbbell racks, training benches, and other health and exercise equipment.

We have extensive experience removing heavy items and large equipment, so you can trust us with the job.

“It’s too heavy to move on my own.”
“I need to dispose of everything at once due to a store closing or relocating.”
“I’d like it collected as soon as possible.”

If you’re facing any of these concerns, please feel free to consult Nishida Service. Estimates are free of charge. We respond quickly according to your schedule and carry out unwanted item collection safely and carefully.

If you’re having trouble disposing of gym machines or fitness equipment, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Special cleaning services—leave it to Nishida Service!

Hello! This is Nishida Service.

Now that we’re into August, the intense heat continues. Please take care to guard against heatstroke, stay hydrated regularly, and take good care of yourself during this season.

Due to the high temperatures at this time of year, we tend to see an increase in inquiries about special cleaning services.

This time, we’d like to introduce a special cleaning case we handled in Aoba Ward, Yokohama.

✦・┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈ ・✦

An elderly male resident had passed away, and over time, an odor began emanating from the room. A neighboring resident contacted the management company, and the apartment owner subsequently reached out to Nishida Service for consultation.

After receiving the inquiry, our staff rushed to the site right away to assess the condition of the room.

During the hot summer months, odors inside a room can intensify quickly, making a rapid response absolutely essential in special cleaning work.

To minimize the impact on neighboring residents as much as possible, we installed special deodorizing and disinfecting equipment that same day and carried out emergency measures. This swift initial response helped contain the spread of the odor.

The following day, a team of four staff members began full-scale special cleaning work, completing the job over the course of one day.

✦・┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈ ・✦

Special cleaning involves far more than simply cleaning a room. It requires specialized skill and experience, including removing the sources of bodily fluids and odors, disinfecting and deodorizing with dedicated chemical agents, and using specialized equipment to eliminate lingering smells.

Odors can spread especially quickly during the summer months, and there are many cases where this ends up affecting neighboring residents. We carefully listen to each situation, and for urgent cases, we do our best to respond on-site the same day whenever possible, carrying out emergency deodorizing and disinfecting work as needed.

✦・┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈ ・✦

“An odor has developed.”
“We’ve received complaints from neighbors.”
“We need a response as soon as possible.”

If you’re facing concerns like these, please don’t hesitate to consult Nishida Service.

We respond quickly and carefully, staying attentive to the feelings of bereaved families and property owners while giving full consideration to the impact on those nearby.

In special cleaning, how quickly the initial response happens can greatly affect the situation that follows. We do our best to accommodate urgent requests, so please feel free to contact us whenever you’re in need.

Leave the demolition and removal of carports and parking roofs to us!

Hello! This is Nishida Service.

The intense heat continues, so please take good care of yourselves — be sure to watch out for heatstroke, and stay well.

We recently received a request from a customer in Nakahara Ward, Kawasaki City, to demolish and remove a carport (parking roof) that had been installed at their property. After years of use, the carport had deteriorated over time, and the customer wanted the roofing material and frame removed.

At Nishida Service, we carried out the demolition, removal, and disposal as a complete package — paying close attention to the surrounding buildings, fencing, and the customer’s vehicle, with safety as our top priority throughout.

✦・┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈ ・✦

Carports come in many different types.

The most common type currently used in residential settings combines an aluminum frame with a polycarbonate roof. Beyond that, there are several other variations: the “single-post type,” with support posts on only one side; the “double-post type,” with posts on both sides; the “gable type,” designed for two or more parking spaces; the “rear-post type,” with posts positioned toward the back; and the sturdy “folded-plate carport,” commonly used in snowy regions and at business facilities. In some older homes, you’ll also find carports with corrugated roofing, or ones made of steel or wood.

As this shows, the demolition method varies depending on the carport’s type and how it was installed. The support posts are often firmly anchored in concrete, and depending on the size, the structure can be quite heavy — attempting to dismantle it yourself can risk injury, accidents, or damage to the building.

✦・┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈ ・✦

At Nishida Service, we handle everything from carport demolition and removal to transport and proper disposal — all as a single, seamless service. Drawing on the removal expertise we’ve built through our junk removal work, we carefully handle even large components with full consideration for the surrounding area.

In addition to carports, we can also handle:

“Storage shed demolition and removal”
“Wood deck demolition”
“Fence and gate removal”
“Terrace roof and cycle port demolition”
“Removal of unwanted items left in parking areas”

If you have concerns like:

“I’d like to know the cost of carport removal”
“I want to demolish an old carport to replace it”
“I want to remove the parking roof to make more parking space”
“I want to remove it early as a precaution against typhoons or strong winds”

please feel free to consult Nishida Service. On-site inspections and quotes are free of charge. We’ll assess the type of carport and how it’s installed, then propose a safe and efficient approach.

You can trust us to handle everything responsibly, from demolition through to removal and disposal — please leave it all to us with peace of mind!

Large Wine Cellar Removed — Even With a Difficult Extraction Route!

Hello! This is Nishida Service.

The intense heat continues day after day—we hope everyone is staying well.

Recently, we received a request from a store in Shinagawa Ward, Tokyo, to collect a large wine cellar and sake cellar unit.

The cellar unit collected this time was a large SAKURA WORKS wine and sake cellar. It had been installed on the first floor of a detached-house-style shop, but the store’s interior layout had been changed after the unit was brought in, meaning it could no longer be carried straight out through the entrance.

✦・┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈ ・✦

Since the standard removal route wasn’t feasible, we carefully moved the unit across the store’s counter and switched to removing it via the second floor instead, prioritizing safety at every step. The work was completed without incident.

Large wine and sake cellars are heavy, and their glass doors are extremely delicate. Removing them safely therefore requires substantial experience and solid technical skill.

Even in cases like this one—where the removal route was restricted, or in jobs that other companies have called too difficult to handle—we’re able to draw on extensive experience and technical skill to assess each site on the spot and propose the best possible removal method. We believe that’s a service only Nishida Service can offer.

If you’re facing challenges like “it won’t fit through the entrance,” “it’s too heavy to carry out,” or “another company already turned us down,” please don’t hesitate to reach out to us for a consultation!

✦・┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈ ・✦

We’ll assess each site’s conditions and respond with the safest, most careful method for the situation.

If you’re having trouble with removal of a “large cellar,” “wine cellar,” “sake cellar,” “refrigerated cellar,” or similar unit, please feel free to reach out to Nishida Service anytime!
